Our office, subordinated to Keelung Government, is located
in the center of Keelung City. Topographically, this district
is wider in east-west direction and slightly narrow in the
south-north direction. There are mountains but barely any
farmland in the northeast, the hilly region. The district
stretches in the southwest, and reaches Yu-san Road in the
west.
In this jurisdictional district, Hsiao-kang Li joins Chung-cheng
District in the east; the watercourse joins Jenai District
in the south; and Chung-cheng Park joins Chung-cheng District
in the north. In its southeast is Juifang Town, Taipei County;
and Chung-cheng District and Jenai District in the northeast
and southwest, respectively.
The total district area is 10.670 sq. km, and divided into
20 Lis and 412 Lins. Most of the residents are government
employees and teachers. As many city institutions and schools
are in this district, it's known as "A District of Culture
and Education."
